ABOUT PYC
Presbyterian Youth Collaborative (PYC) is a welcoming, inter-church youth ministry rooted in the grace and love of Jesus Christ. We are a partnership of PC(USA) congregations in South Charlotte, North Carolina, walking alongside middle and high school students (grades 6–12) as they grow in faith, build strong friendships, and explore their unique call in the world.
Rooted in Sardis Presbyterian Church and Providence Presbyterian Church, PYC is supported by pastors, church staff, and dedicated youth advisors and volunteers. We create a space where young people can feel seen, valued, and empowered to live out their faith authentically. We are Open & Affirming—our LGBTQ+ youth are fully welcome and loved as they are.
PYC also serves as a resource for the wider Presbytery of Charlotte, because youth ministry takes a village. Students stay grounded in their home congregations while joining a larger, intergenerational community that nurtures growth, connection, and purpose.
Through worship, service, retreats, trips, and small groups, youth encounter God in new ways, form lasting friendships, and step boldly into their call.
